Is crypto a good hedge?

Some investors are saying that Bitcoin (BTC) is now a better inflation hedge than gold. This is wrong for two reasons: (1) high inflation is unlikely to happen, and (2) cryptos are too volatile to be considered a hedge against anything. Bottom line: don't justify your risk-taking by claiming it's a risk hedge.
